I once said "When emotions and thoughts collide, chaos ensues. But in mastering their interplay, art is born. To create, one must choose between the head and the heart, for balance lies not in the middle, but in the control."
Creating art is a beautiful way to express oneself, and some people might argue that emotions are a crucial ingredient to creating meaningful and impactful art. However, the truth is that you can still create art without emotions and meaning behind it. In my experience, I have found that when I created art without emotions behind it, I never really felt connected with the final product. There was always something missing, a certain depth or complexity that I just couldn't achieve.
On the other hand, the designs I created when I infused them with both my thinking and emotions resonated with me on a much deeper level. These designs came effortlessly and didn't take me much time to create, yet they held a special place in my heart. This is because when you put both your mind and heart into creating something, the end result is often a beautiful fusion of your thoughts, emotions, and creativity.
At the end of the day, while you may create art for yourself, it is the viewers who decide which one is your best work. They will interpret your art based on their feelings and thoughts about it. So, while it's important to create what you want and what you feel, it's also crucial to understand and appreciate the impact that your art has on others.
Lastly, I believe that the true essence of creating art comes from within oneself. When you stop creating art for likes and fame, you start creating for yourself and the expression of your own unique perspective. It is in these moments that you start to truly care about your mind or heart, and your creations reflect your most authentic self.
