“The Time I Encountered A Giant Decapod” The development of Alan Mathew's film debut, a short sci fi film, began on June 16th, 2022.
We found the actors and the filming spot almost a month later. The filming started on 23rd of July. Surprisingly, we completed the shooting in a single day, from "Lights! Camera! Action!" to "that's a wrap." Despite the fact that story takes place at night, it was actually filmed in the middle of a hot afternoon. This is where CGI is used.
One of the main challenges in the film is the Decapod; the idea was developed even before shooting and a model was developed. The monster raised many questions for us.
